Quaker City Castings is an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility. We maintain strict control over all phases of the metal-casting process, from raw material purchases to molding to pouring to finishing and testing. Our commitment to quality ensures that every casting meets the highest standards.
On-Site Testing
Quaker City Castings pulls our own test bars and performs our own Charpy tests, all on-site. Every heat gets a keel block from which we take material for testing, and all results are documented and kept in our database. We can provide testing certifications upon request, and will assist you in material choice if you know what properties you need but don’t have a specific material in mind.

Visual and Mechanical Inspection
All castings are visually studied by one of our trained inspectors for any cracks, veins, or shrink. Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, and Radiographic testing are available if required by part specifications or by the customer. Our engineering department checks the dimensional accuracy using our state-of-the-art FARO® Laser ScanArm to ensure that all castings meet our customer’s requirements.
